Let it be known that Christian Bale is my favorite actor. First time I saw American Psycho the dude’s acting just struck a chord with me. Then the legendary tales of his going the extra mile as method actor (dude lost 60 lbs to play the role in the Machinist) and the scripts he picks…he approaches acting the same way I approach emceeing.

So let me say that when I hit up surfthechannel.com to watch The Prestige last night I shouldn’t have been as pleasantly surprised as I was! Honestly though, I had no idea such an ill movie existed! Why didn’t anyone ever tell me about this jawn? Suffice to say I loved the film.

I loved it so much that when it stopped working via surfthechannel.com, I ran out to blockbuster immediately at 11pm to pick up a copy on DVD. There’s so many good quotes to sample.

Wikipedia says it came out Oct 20th, 2006. Hmmm I can say how I could have been preoccupied at the time, but damn….that was a good movie. If you haven’t seen it. Go check that out!
